I have lots of dreams of being in the ocean. It is unnerving, not necessarily scary. It is the vastness of the ocean that does this. Having my dreams analyzed I was told that it means I feel overwhelmed. If you think of the size of the ocean and being in the middle of it it seems like there is no end.

I have always been afraid of deep down below the ocean. When I go to the beach, kayak, or see the ocean, I think it's beautiful and I'm not scared, but any photos of sunken ships, scuba divers or creepy fish freak me out. In everyday life, I'm not scared of the dark, but when it comes to the ocean, I'm scared of how lonely, dark and mysterious it is down there. You don't know what kind of a creature might be watching you. I'd be terrified to be there because I'd feel so alone and lost in such a gigantic place.

Yes, I like to body surf a lot. Sometimes the waves are so strong. I was once caught in a rip current. I was taken about 100 yards in about 30 seconds. I had to remind myself not to panic. I just try to not underestimate the ocean, ever.

ch-yeah it does! Even though I've only been to the ocean once when I was like three years old. But I remember my mom was carrying me on her hip and she waded out into the water to a spot where there was a dead jellyfish and she was telling me about it. Then we saw dolphins out in the background. But that's not what scares me. Whenever I watch movies where someone's swimming in deep water or discovery channel documentaries where they have to dive into the waters...I get scared. It's mainly the thought of sharks...that's what scares the crap out of me. I would literally crap myself if I was in the middle of the ocean and saw a shark. I think I just crapped myself thinking about it...see what you did! I think it's also the unknown....the ocean is so deep and expansive, and there's so much in it, and we're so tiny compared to it, it scares me a little in that sense, yes.

To the north is the San Onofrey Nuclear Power Plant. To the South is Tijuana Sewage Spills.
When I go to the toilet, the water is blue. When I pee, it turns green.
The ocean off of my coast is green.
Get it?
