Your nationality doesn't matter sugar...what matters is your hair quality. If you have oily hair, washing it daily is necessary. There are shampoos that help that, too. My hair is normal/dry and I wash daily with a conditioning shampoo and a leave in conditioner; my hair is past the middle of my back, and looks fine.

it all depends on how much oil your hair can produce in a day. SOme more than others. I would say the average person would wash their hair once every three days. But if your hair gets really oily than do it once every two days, but when your not doing anything for a while than leave it as long as you can. When your going out than wash it. Use a mild soap such as Dove that wont strip your hair, and use a good condtioner a leave one if you can. Try using the condtioner first than use the shampoo. This way it will be taking more of just your condtioner but still leaving your natural oils.

I'm black and asian and my hair is naturally frizzy and curly. I only wash it twice a week though... maybe I should wash it more but if you washed it every day, you'd be washing out the natural oils and drying out your hair. So yeah, she's right to a degree, but if you don't want your head to stink, I suggest washing it at least 2-3 times. I only wash mine twice a week (party because I'm lazy) but also because I flat iron it and it's at its best when it hasn't been washed for about 3 days and I just rub some good-smelling frizz control into it to keep it looking good...

I usually wash my hair everyday or every other day. I know that it is supposed to be good for your hair to have that natural oil on it but I just can't stand it. After one day I am a major grease ball also and have to wash my hair. I don't always shampoo it but I definitely get it wet everyday.

Washing your hair everyday will dry out your hair. I wash my hair once a week to preserve my natural oils. If you brush your hair deliberately everyday, it will distribute the oils everywhere instead of having buildup on my scalp. If you still experience greasiness, apply baby powder to the roots of your hair and brush, it well help to mop up the extra oil and make your hair smell good. If need be, wash your hair twice a week, no more.

i wash my hair once a week and it is fine!!! it doesn't look greasy at all
and since i straighten my hair the straighter stays in longer
but u don't have the same hair as me so i would try washing it every other day, then every three days, and keep increasing until ur hair gets greasy and then wash it

I wash my hair once a week. The straighter and greasier your hair is, the more often you need to wash it. I would imagine that your hair is curly or wavy, so I wouldn't think washing it everyday is necessary.

its bad too wash your hair everyday becasue your hair will dry out. you should wash your hair every other day. Thats what i do and it does not become a huge grease ball.

I wash my hair once a week. I think it depends on what race you are as to how often you should wash your hair.
