Depends what time of beep.
A long beep means you're either pissed off or you are trying to warn me.
Two short beeps is a friendly hello or hurry up.
One short beep is the equivalence of a tap on the shoulder just to get my attention.
Several long beeps in a continuous pattern means you're not even in the car, but you're alarm is going off. ;)
