Guilty as charged. yes, I've faked love. I pretended i was in love with this guy. He's nice and all but he's just not drop dead gorgeous and he always mumbles. It took me 3 months to convince him to break up with me. yes, it was hard but now we're friends. And yeah, we sometimes get kinky too. So, provided the girl is okay with you being outspoken with ur feelings, then u should tell her you never did. It was a risk I took.

I'd have to say the whole "love" thing is fake. It's no more than fondness and jealousy, with a few hormones thrown in in the case of romantic love. Some poet somewhere invented the word love because "Roses are red, violets are blue You're good company and I'd like to do you." wouldn't sound too good. If there was such a thing as true love, why do the vast majority of people nowadays go through 2 or 3 "true loves" before they're too old to pull someone else?

Have we ever faked love?
Aw, come on - get real.

I've been married 42 years.
I've faked love 12 times a day, 365 days a year for all of those 42 years - and that was just to get cups of tea!

Going on pity date is not faking love, and you can not fake erection either if you went that far. Maybe you did lie to her that you love her which is not a right thing to do.

Yes.....but eventually I had to be honest....you can't give your heart away to someone you don't respect, share honesty, and love.

You always know when someone just really doesn't make it in your eyes, and eventually they can tell.....that doesn't mean you have to stop trying to be a good friend.

Calling them names, means it will come right back to you! Get real...who's the animal now. Add honesty to your life...and it will come back when you need it.

no i've never had to because I tell people the truth even if it will hurt their feelings if i don't love them I tell them from the beginning so I won't be leading them on and if I love them I tell them so they know exactly how I feel because I wouldn't want someone I'm in a relationship with to lie to me about their feelings

Um....no.....faking love is wrong!! It's hurtful to the other person when they find out....it's hurtful to yourself in the long run b/c it gets out that you're an *sshole.....
