Some are, they get confused by instinct and hump just about anything. Elephants are even raping rhinos these days.

But of course the designation bi-sexual indicates a self-identification as well.. which animals completely lack. So no, not in the human sense.

There are some animals in many species that evidence homosexual behavior.

Also, my dog will hump anything made out of velour so I don't think that animal behavior is a fair equal to human sexuality, what with all our complicated emotions and social structures and such,

Frogs can go both ways. They do this when there is a shortage of a male or female in order to procreate. Actually, humans are the only animals that have sex for fun. Most girl animals are bitches about when they get it.

Youve never seen a male dog hump another male dog? You must live under a rock.

Also, for your information, animals in the wild practice homosexuality as well. Deer and rats have been observed behaving in this fashion when forced into overcrowded situations... Now, what is going on in the world today? Overpopulation and homosexuality. Anyone else perhaps see a correlation there?????

Yeah my cousin haves 2 male dogs and one female dog, her males dogs are bi-sexual. I consider them bi-sexual cause they have sex with both male and female animals. If scientists consider then bi-sexual I'm not sure.

You need to check out the book "Emperor's Embrace" by Jeffrey Masson. The title is about the Emperor penguin, and the male's role in raising the young, but the author also discusses many cases of bisexuality or homosexuality in various species.

Yes, almost every species of animal practices varying degrees of homosexual behavior in addition to regular mating behavior. An extremely good example is the bonobo (pygmy chimpanzee). Look it up.

In overcrowded or stressful situations, they often develop homosexual tendencies. I had a friend who had two female rabbits, and one used to "rape" the other, until the victim bunny became very passive and refused to eat after repeated attacks. The poor traumatized bunny never did recover, even after they were moved to seperate cages.
