My husband and I just started dieting and I am looking for healthy meal ideas that are full of flavor that help us to transition from being used to eating all the fatty calorie rich foods we are used to

Go to Sam's Club or a store like it and get the Chicken Breast already cut and frozen. Get the ones without skin.

Then they are ready to cook the many ways you can cook chicken.

I always boil my chicken breast until white before I cook it other ways because then you know it is cooked enough.

Great thing is to use Chicken Broth cubes to boil in. Then in a different pan make some Brown Rice or Veggies and fry them and then chop up the chicken into cubes and add olive oil and fry all together into a great meal. Be sure to let the items brown in the pan because it adds flavor.

Dozens of different options for this type of meal.

Also, cook on a grill outside because it makes the chicken taste great !!

Also, have you ever bought a smoked Turkey from the Store... OH MY GOD are they good !!!!!

I think that you can eat what you usually do, except try to cut down on the fats and the carbs. Broccoli and beef over rice. Just cut the portion of rice. Grilled chicken breast and sweet potato and don't have the potato with brown sugar and butter! Poached fish, or tuna sandwiches without loads of mayo. Lots of salad, without all the 'goodies' and use low cal dressings.
I have lost 80 lbs over a one year period doing just that! Good luck!
