i need to know if my crush i have had for over a year likes me what should i do!!!

Does he flirt with you? Talk to you often? Act shy around you?
These could all be signs of him liking you, (among many others) though you're never really going to know until you ask him.
If you are afraid to ask him then try to become good friends with him. If you can sustain a friendship with him then you won't feel so akward and he can even get to know you better which will make him notice you more therefore possible liking you more then he might already!
Remember that you only live once, so no guts no glory! Go for it ;)

If you and this person have been hanging around for awhile you can tell if there is something there. So if I were you I would just tell him how you feel!
