It also seems like we are too well stuck up. I have seen on many accouts people saying "Jesus is Lord" that is the truth but why are we trying to push it too hard. It is no simple matter to convert someone. I don't know but it seems a lot of us try to make christanity seem so surperior to others. In all reality we are just like every other person on here. Maybe it's because i'm a teen but i think maybe we should all try not to argue and see life in one anothers shoes. I'm stepping off my soap-box now.

Never be afraid to speak the praise of Jesus Christ.
So many Christan's have died for doing it.
We live in a world where some care more about what nonbelievers think than following the doctrines of Jesus Christ.
The Romans would put Christian's in an arena and nonbelievers would rejoice at watching them eaten alive by loins for publicly praising Jesus Christ.
All over the world Christan's are persecuted and killed for speaking Jesus word.
Don't let this soft society fool you, the battle is still going on today.
Satan is as powerfully as ever. This is the same world.
But now we have so many distractions that we forget how serious this battle is.
May Jesus Christ, lord and Savior of the earth open your eyes to the truth.

Bottom Line.... Jesus was not overbearing, or arrogant...so his followers shouldn't be either.... The same Jesus who commanded us to preach the gospel to all nations, also said to shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against those who do not believe, and "MOVE ON"..... you cannot judge those who preach the gospel as they are "hopefully" inspired by the Holy Spirit..who gives us the words we are to say.... so what may seem overbearing to you might not be overbearing to "God".. that's why he is the "Judge" and the "Standard" Not us.... at the same time others cannot judge you, as some did when they answered your question...(i believe one said that you are not a christian)... We must realize that we should only say what we are inspired to say by the power of the Holy Ghost.... Anything else is not of God..!!!

It is because your a teen and teens yurn to be liked. The fact is that the end times are coming and people NEED to hear the Gosple. If your to worried about having friends and people liking you more then telling anyone who will listen that they need God's forgiveness then you need to decide who you love more, the world or God. It may not seem like a big deal to you, but there is a war going on, the devil is taking people to hell EVERY day! The devil is lieing to people about his own exsistance and the of God and His Son, decieveing people in to the doors of hell, with some science, worldly knowledge and hidden sins( as well as with oveous sins)and decieveing Christians in to thinking we shouldn't "push it too hard." Your whole purpose in life is to love God. We are to share our faith with everyone, our job is to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizeing them in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everthing I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:18-20)" because you not know on what day your lord will come."(Matt. 24:42) It is best the the Lord finds you doing the work given to you, because He will "..put him in charge of all His possessions."( 28:47) Because if He comes and finds you not doing your work, " He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."(28:51) Jesus said in John(8:31) that " If you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples." Hold to His teachings. But before you can hold to his teachings you have to LEARN His teachings. By the way, you can't convert anyone. You are just to tell them the Word and then teach them His ways if they except the truth.

bypass alongside with your coronary heart. % what you like- now not what some non secular person says to do. i will assist you to understand what you're able to opt to do first, in spite of if: hit upon advice on a thank you to think of of by using your self. do now not enable human beings assist you to understand the thank you to stay your very own existence. From what you have suggested, in spite of if, it sounds as though such as you anticipate pastors and psychics to be the comparable element. Which they don't seem to be. Now i'm unable to have the means to declare no count selection selection if faith is fake or now not- i in my opinion don't have self perception, yet that does now not advise that may not to any extent further genuine.

Acting superior will never convince someone of the love of God! You are totally right, young friend! While as Christians, we know that Jesus is Lord, it IS a turn off to alot of people to just spout sayings like that, because it has no meaning for them like it does for us. We should all be more sensitive. God Bless you.

Well I'm glad at least one worshiper of some fictional deity sees that they can seem a little overbearing. Now all we have to do is find a way to get through to all the others worshipping their little fantasy beings that maybe they don't have a right to dictate lifes direction to the rest of the planet.

You are right. When people try to push Christianity down people's throats, it is more of a turn off than a lightbulb going on.

i think that as christians we have something other people need but either don't know about it or don't want it, but we don't share it which we should. You said that we are like every person on here but in reality we're not, yes we all sin but we are forgiven of those sins. not every one on here is forgiven by sin and so we push christianity so that every one else who doesn't have this precious gift can get it and they can become saved like us.

You're right. "Christians" do act like their religion is superior. But the thing is people who act like that aren't really "Christians". That isn't the Christian way to act. Also, I think anyone who believes in a god/gods, would think their god is superior. Christians shouldn't put other people down, but if you're a true Christian, you would believe your religion is superior. If God didn't want that, he wouldn't have made it our mission to convert others.
