Ok. Please read this, even though it's long. Srry. I'm a sophomore in highschool and I'm friends with litteraly everyone in my highschool of about 100 people. I'm a goofy kid and am always making funny voices and stuff. Yesterday I was impersonating the Godfather's older Don Corleone when this kid out of the blue came up and punched me in my privates extremely hard for no reason at all. I asked him why he did it and he said "he was just trying to be funny," sarcastically. I was bruised and hurt very badly. It was the first time in a long time that I cried. I thought about it last night and decided not to react without close considerations. I confronted him today, and told him that it wasn't cool and that i expected an apology, and that if ever does it again that i'll tell the police. He just laughed and asked me if i wanted to hear another joke. My friends backed me up, but what if he tries to hurt me again? what should I do?

Sounds like you were the center of attention and he didn't like that very much. Bullies usually want/need to be the center of attention and don't like others getting it. You need to tell someone in an authoritive position. Ex. teacher, principal, head master...
about what happened. Also, you might want to start documenting any run-in you have with this person. Start with the incident you described above. Remember to include the date and as much detail as possible. Include any witnesses names that were there. That way when/if something happens in the future and you do decide to take a more firm approach, you'll have documented it all. This serves MANY purposes, but a lawyer I used to work for told me about doing that. Please let a grown-up know whats going on. Once associated with the school and your parents.

I am pretty sure you are living in a small town. If he is a big asshole you can pay for mail order child porn or hardcore gay pornand use his physical address (street, house, apartment) as the recipient. If you do this make sure you pay with a money order that doesn't have any of your personal information on it. This only works if he isn't gay or into kids by the way. Or you could just jump him and beat him down and he won't bother you again because most bullies are *******.

You did the right thing.
Please tell your parents.
Now, you need to go to the principal and tell him or her what happened. This kid may not do anything again but he needs to know that it is not okay. It is the job of the principal to keep the school a safe place. In a small school like yours, S/he already probably knows that this child is a problem. They will surely step up. Don't wait until something else happens.
Good Luck.

Honestly, now is the point in your life when diplomatic roles do not have effect on testosterone riddled jerks like him. I was bigger and meaner than most bullies in my school, so I didn't have this problem. I think you probably will have to jump him and kick his ****. For whatever reason, that earns you respect with some people. Just have your friends to back you if you lose. Good luck.

My answer may not be popular but it worked for me. If he ever confronts you again punch him in the nose as hard as you can. A second choice is hit him in the throat, yes the throat. It won't kill him but I guarantee he will leave you alone.

100 people in a high school? Wow...well anyways.
If you don't care for your image then tell someone, maybe you have someone in your highschool that resolves those kinds of things. If you don't want to look like a pussy...stand up to him, not alone of course.

I think you should tell your parents or an adult that you feel comfortable telling this to. If he continues to do that to you I would tell a teacher or your guidance counselor because he could get in serious trouble for hurting you. Best of luck!!!!

I think you did exactly the right thing. Other than that, talk to your parents and enlist their help. This is a serious issue. It is assault and you could be seriously injured.
