Egg yolks are allowed before the age of one and then you can give them whole eggs after a year old. Hard boiled eggs are a great source of protein for kids who don't like meat. Yes, there is a risk of food allergy but you only need to be concerned if there is a history of food sensitivities in your family.
Make sure that you break them up in to small pieces and that they are fully cooked.

Does he have any other food allergies? I would suggest only scrambling the yolk for a few days and if he doesn't react then I would slowly add in half of the egg white to see if he reacts. Children typically react to the egg white not the yolk. Signs of food allergies are typically diarrhea, vomiting and or skin rash but please contact your pediatrician if you have any concerns before giving him eggs.

Eggs are a very sensative thing. I fed my daughter eggs at 1 but she broke out in a rash. Keep an eye on him. Eggs are one of the top allergies in kids.

Egg whites are a serious allergy issue, as are peanuts. If you want to try your child on eggs, scramble egg yolks only. Wait until at least age 2, preferably age three before introducing whites.

when i first gave my son scrambled eggs he didnt like the texture, now he s nearly 2 and loves them.
give it a go he may love them, but start with a little because he may have allergies. look out for a rash or vomiting!

Did he have any reactions to any of his immunisations? If the answer is no then go ahead. I fed all my kids scrambled eggs at that age.

I think eggs are supposed to be avoided prior to age two due to possible allergies. However, I fed my twins eggs around that time. Since nobody in our family has food allergies, I was pretty sure the kids wouldn't be allergic and sure enough, they weren't!

I have 3 kids and one of them is one year old (the other two are older). Go ahead and feed him the eggs...chances are he'll love em. All of our kids are egg fanatics!

Yes, my one year old loves them! Just be sure that is the only new food you give him for about a week and watch for allergies.
