Wash you hair and condition deliberately the night before. Allow your hair to dry naturally instead of going under the dryer. In the morning brush out your hair and apply a de-frizzer. Roll your hair into the rollers first and then do whatever else you do in the morning. Before you leave pull the rollers out and spray hair with a flexible hairspray. You will have nice volumous hair.

Remember to condition regularly and do not put heat directly on wet hair. Also get a trim every other month it will keep the hair healthy. Good luck!

I use hot rollers everyday! I love them, mine is a quick set. They heat up in 2 minutes, throw em in your hair let em sit for a few...then take down and your done. Use them on DRY hair only. I keep them in till they cool it takes about 15 minutes give or take a few. I keep them in my hair while I do my makeup. Saves me time. I would much rather use hot rollers than a curling iron any day. I have 3 little one so anything that saves time and makes me look great I love :)

DRY HAIR! heat them up while you get dressed, then put them in your dry hair, but be careful! They do get HOT. when you have them in, go ahead with your morning routine (have breakfast, put on your makeup, etc) When the rollers are cool to your touch, remove them and style. I would caution you try them out while hanging around the house and not on a work morning first just to figure out how you like them. The first time I used mine was before a funeral and boy did it look HUGE! I used WAY too many for the look I wanted. Just put them in and have fun experimenting. Most come with a little booklet with hints and styles to try. GOOD LUCK!

Agree with previous answer (but your hair can be "almost" dry too). But do yourself a favor & find the hot rollers that stay in by themselves (sort of like velcro). It will save you time.
