The videos play back on the camera fine, but when I watch them on my computer there is no sound. They seem to be saved as THM and avi files, but neither works properly. I have reloaded my software many times but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

In similar cases i did following. 1. Burn a CD-R with the files. 2. Convert CD R to CDVIDEO (I use Nero) . 3. Convert VCD -cdvideo) to DVD. Then you will have a normally playable disc.
Play it in your computer. I hope you get a sound.

It's saved, but your computer is missing a driver for the audio file. Go to Canon's website to download it.

you may no longer import youtube movies into homestead windows action picture Maker. in case you try a window will pop up asserting"homestead windows action picture Maker can no longer import this record because of the fact it truly is in a format homestead windows action picture Maker would not understand. homestead windows action picture Maker can no longer play FLV data so which you will no longer make a video out of FLVs.
