if you found that you were struggling greatly in your christian walk, what would you do? I really do love Jesus but I'm finding it so hard right now.

it is in the times when we dont feel like walking with God, that if we press in hard enough we will get our biggest break through.

I am speaking from experience.

Get into your secret place with God, cry out to Him with your whole heart for as long as it takes. it could take hours but
find your intamate relationships with Him again.

Sometimes when you feel like God is not running to you when you call, thats when He wants you to come running to Him.

Show Him that you are willing to do anything to be with Him.

I wouldn't recommend changing churches just yet....

Everyone goes through struggles during thier Christian walk, it is largely due to influences of others and media, and wondering of why? We often over think and over anylaize a situation that we cannot find the answers to and this is so in our Christian walk as well.
I would like to encourage you to talk to an elder, your pastor, and find a spiritual teacher one that can offer you teaching and knowledge that helps you with your walk with God.
This takes time, just because you don't get the answers you seek one day doesn't mean you won't the next, or will for that matter... keep pressing on as God instructs us to do.
Your faith is personal with God and when you are in doubt or feel lost and alone, call out to God in prayer, as Jesus said His sheep know His voice when He calls, and when we call He will come to our aid and leave the flock to take care of themselves... that's very comforting to me in my times when I feel lost... Those words let me ( us )) know that God is always as close as His name.

Sometimes in prayer I just ask God to give me peace and I actually feel sensations inside my body, I can no longer cry for He halts my tears and internally I am comforted, I encourage you to ask God to bring you comfort and answers you seek,
God Bless, Shannon

get into the word, pray and ask God for His guidance. There's nothing to which Jesus cannot relate. Hebrews 4:15 says, "We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

ALL Christians go through what you're going through! The Christian walk is a struggle because you have so many things working against you--the world, your flesh, the enemy...what a mess, huh!

Be encouraged, Sis! You know what "I" do? I remember...I worship Him, praise Him and THANK Him...and as I thank Him, I remember how good He is REGARDLESS of how bad things may be around me. I remember how good He is, and I lose the desire to do things that displease Him.

Meditation, devotion, praise, worship, prayer, fasting: ALL essential tools to a healthy Christian walk.

Be blessed, and feel free to email me!

Trust...everything happens for a reason....someone once told me that sometimes god pulls away at times in life so you can learn for yourself and make decisions;discover yourself and your path. He never leaves you he is always there. Whether you can hear him or not. Sometimes he just listens because at that point in your life he wants you to find your way...of course he is helping you he just isn't talking to you. And if you aren't going down the road that you feel that god wants you to then talk to god....I have always learned that god knows what he is talking about...if I was you I would follow his direction he will always lead you the right way honey. Hope that helps. God Bless!

one thing that helps me is my music, i find that listening to moral minded music helps alot, and also having another christian close by to talk to, you tend to try harder to be a better witness when someone else knows how you are supposed to act. and also, read Matthew 24, close to the end of the chapter, don't let Jesus come back and find you being mischief.
and most importantly, constant prayer.

take some time out to relax and reflect on all the positive things in your life and remember they are in your life because of god. Jesus suffered greatly for all of us, pray for your cross to be lighter for ,pray and talk to him. offer all your troubles up to him and he will help you, read the last part of the poem footsteps,if you don't have it you'll find it in a christian store. things can only get better so good luck and god bless.

It is hard. It's expected to be a challenge. If you have a good group of Christian friends, then the walk is much easier. Your peers will become your influence so choose them wisely ;-)

I honestly don't think you'll find any christians who haven't had this problem from time to time. It's different for everyone, for me, I go for walks in the woods, see the beauty He created, and it seems to invigorate me spiritually. For some people, it's lots of prayer and bible reading. Whatever works for you.
