I think that HIV/AIDS is both a good and bad thing (but the bad outweighs the good). It's a bad because it kills millions of people daily and shows no signs of letting up and is a global pandemic. It's a good because reinforces self-control because at the time of the outbreak people were going wild and didn't give a damn about today or tomorrow. It slowed us down a bit and really prevented people from acting "loose".

I know what this has to do with Christianity, but I'm not Christian, and I definitely think HIV/AIDS is a sad and bad thing.

Well medically it is a bad thing but Christianity wise it isn't. It is just disease. It is not a punishment as many used to believe it was.

Of COURSE, AIDS is a bad thing...just ask anyone who has AIDS!

Bad thing. It kills people. Why are you asking the christains. it's not just the christains who have strong feelings twords HIV/AIDS

Why? Because it has brought some to repentance and salvation.
