i have one on each side of my head and it look ridiclous. any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

You can never get rid of cowlicks, they are manifestations of you hair growth pattern which is genetic. Only think to do is keep your hair really short (shaved short) or pretty long and use very strong styling products.

To get rid of cowlicks, you can "train" that piece of hair to do what you want. Use those "snap in place" clips to bend the peice however you want and put a bit of product, then sleep with it like that over night.
*Easiest Solution: invest in ceramic hair-straightener. You can manipulate at crink or crease and It'll only take a minute every morning!

Well the only thing i can think of is to use a round brush and a blowdryer. Brush the hair (with the cowlick) away from your face then blowdry.

a cowlick is something you were born with, and will die with..(that is if you do not lose your hair)
It is a pattern that you are going to have to work with.
Try different cuts, or ways you comb your hair.
my 16 year old has one, and thats what we do!

you can't really get rid of cowlicks completly but you can use water or gel to help keep them down.
