i want to tint my headlights and maybe tail lights but i need to know if it is illegal in Florida.

Yes head light tint is illegal. If you get caught with tinted headlights you will be pulled over and shot in the face, officers of the law have the right to engage in sexual intercorse with your corpse.

did you even try to contact the state of florida? tinting your headlights will compromise thier performance and your night driving.
but the rediculous thing is that you would tint them on my word. what if i said yes and then you did it and then got pulled over? do you think the cop would let you go if you told them that Polyesterfred told you it was legal????....no the cop would laugh at you write you a ticket then tell you that i was wrong and you should have gotten a definitive answer from the people who make the laws in that state.

well i lived in flordia and a whole bunch of people had tinted lights and they didnt get pulled over maybe its just luck or maybe its not illegal

they have blackout covers, and yes you can tint your headlights! i recomend you get hallogen lights, like the ones on bmw, lexus, the nice cars! i live in tampa. my neighbor got ticketed for blackouts. dont know why but, maybe vision purposes, seeing he wears glasses to drive!

If you tint them it has to be blue, but if its too blue you will get pulled over.

its not illegal as long as the color is still visible (like using transparent tape/vinyl/paint)
if it was illegal they wouldnt sell black housing covers/taillight covers..ect
