You haven't told us what country you come from, or your age or sex. Already, men under 25 pay a hell of a lot more than anyone else (in the UK and France at any rate).

Well males are automatically going to be more expensive, i paid 140 a month for minimum coverage. Im 18 and a male. my mom pays 40 dollars a month for full coverage on her 2002 jeep, i had a 1984 chevy caprice classic. So expect to pay alot

As I did and all other males have for years you will get cleaned until you turn 25 or get married(don't do that-it ain't worth it for cheaper insurance)if your parents can add you to their policy it will be a lot cheaper-I just did this for my 17 yr old son and it saved him about 1000 a year vs. having his own policy on S-10 pickup

My experience when my kids started to drive and depending on what kind of coverage you list the first time driver, you can probably expect your rates to double.

for my son (17) with good grades in Ohio is $1400/yr

but both are very expensive...
