you could probably get it only if the needle that pierced your navel wasn't sterile.

I don't imagine one could get HIV from getting their navel peirced, unless there is fresh, infected blood on the peircing device from someone who got a peircing not long before you. Navel peircings can become infected just like anything else, but I heard an infection there, can be life threatening. Wait until you are of age to get a peircing there, if your parents don't want you to have it. There are a lot more important things to place your efforts on, than sticking a charm in your navel. Seriously.

it can only happen in they dont steralize the product after each use, if some one came in and had HIV and they didnt sterarlize it right than yes you can get it or any other disease. So just make sure that they clean it right! And after you get it down make sure you clean it well with products that kills germs. Keep it out of contact with anyone with a disease till it heals up proper. I am sure you wont get anything, its not much of a chance but it will happen if the last person who got it done had something wrong with them and it didnt get cleaned right than theres a huge risk. Just tell the person who is doing this to clean it again infront of your eyes than you will be fine. They are very careful with things like this.

If you go to some scummy nasty piercer that does not sterilize his equipment or dispose of needles after piercing and use new ones each time, yes. These piercers should be stabbed with those filthy needles repeatedly and glady there are not many around.
Check for a reputable shop that is willing to take the time to explain everything they are doing and will do beforehand and also check portfolios for before and after pics to see if you like their work.
check tribalectic.com for more info if you need it.

Not if the piercer uses proper sterility techniques. Go to a reputable shop and watch them do some piercings on people. Frequent glove changes and properly sterilized equipment is a must.

Only if the equiptment is contaminated with HIV or something else. If the skin isn't cleaned correctly you could get a staph infection.
