Puppies should be with the mom and littermates until at least 8 weeks. Why do you have a 4 week old???? I bet you a million dollars it has worms and god knows what else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get it to a vet soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pop?I believe you mean Bowel movement, and it could be all in what you are feeding him.He is quite young, and may not have adjusted to eating dog food(dry) pieces.Usually dogs are taken from their mothers around 6-8 weeks, and your puppy seems to have been taken from her sooner.I would suggest you buy him some canned dog food and not use the dry hard peices as it may be a little too much for his tummy to digest. You could even use a different brand/variety of dry dog food, and moisten and soften it up with some warm water or warm milk not hot, just warm. You could also buy a replacement weaning formula and give him that, and then gradually start him on regular dog food. That should do it up until his appointment as he could have something wrong with his bowels or stomach or he could even have worms which need treated by the vet.Good luck and i hope your puppy gets better very soon!

First of all the puppy is too young to be away from its mother. I suggest taking him back until he is at least 8 weeks old. It is very important for a puppy to stay with its mother and siblings during those first eight weeks. But if this is not possible, you need to go to the pet store and get some weaning formula for him, the people who work there will know what you are talking about. He should eat this instead of regular puppy food, or at least add this to his food. To make them have firmer bowels, try cooking a little bit of rice, and add to his food, not too much, though. But before trying any of this, you need to take that puppy to the vet. I bet he has worms, and the vet needs to give him some medicene.

If the dog is otherwise healthy the loose stool is nothing to worry about. Puppies, just like human babies, have loose stool when they are very young. It will go away. But it would still be a good idea to mention it to the vet.
