Yes - contrary to church and popular belief - most prostitutes are wonderful practical people. I went to Boston, Louisville, and Salt Lake City as a college student working on a masters and spent months on the streets, in joints, and late night diners talking to prostitutes. I had so much fun and made so many friends that it was hard to betray them by writing my thesis. Many prostitutes I met later married and most every one of them had one marriage rather than the two or three in general society. Your friend is lucky to be in love and knowing his chosen partners background is a plus. It shows nothing can stand between two true lovers. Be happy for your friend.

Prostitution is a career. Thats just like asking can he go out with a lawyer. There needs to be a basis such as why was she a prositute? Me personally I could see anybody marrying a prostitute and always remeber not all relationships work out but it probably wont be because of her being a prostitute.
Oh and to be quite honest with you I dont think that it is any of your business to be asking such questions. You should have faith in your friend and their relationships even if they dont work out.

It might work if they both made an efford. Read the story below/
Hosea’s Marriage.
In the final days of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, when they were threatened with extinction by the expansionist policies of the neighboring nations, God appealed to His wayward people through a succession of prophets. Among these was Hosea, who was told by God to marry a prostitute, Gomer, and raise a family by her. Through this experience, Hosea was to act out God’s unrelenting covenant of love to His people. When Gomer went after her lovers, Hosea was sent to take her back and love her again. That the story from bible if you want it will work although problems with ex sex workers are problems associated with their alcoholism and drug addiction not sex experiences.

Of course it can work, people can change. And I do believe in love. We have to hold out hope to people.
Your friend will have to be very patient and understanding. Boy, he will have his work cut out for him. And if he's the jealous type at all, forget it.
Anyway how exactly did he meet this person?

why not, if they love each other, trust each other and get on well, there is no reason why they should not be happy; you are saying ex prostitute, which means that it is in the past.

Sure. People move past phases in their life all the time.
Your friend could be an "ex" bed wetter, but that doesn't cause people to want to run away.

If she/he has totally cleaned up their act; gotten a clean bill of health, attending Church or Synagog, faithful in nature, reliable, honest, truthful, hardworker (in other areas that are legit), shown and publically stated love for your friend, then....
Don't worry about it! People can change!

As with most things in life, there never is a straight answer. It will work if they want it to work.

Its not a persons occupation, but the person themself that will make it work. There will be a LOT of issues to work through,so they both have to be willing to try their hardest.
