first take the cat (leave the dog and bird).

Come back and get the bird. Take the bird over. While your there get the cat and bring the cat back with you.

Then get the dog. Cross the dog over (leaving the cat). (Now the dog & bird are crossed).

Return and get the cat and cross it.

First he takes the cat over, he returns and picks up the dog and drops it off, then he picks the cat and returns it to where he started off and picks up the bird while he is there. Then he brings the bird over to the island with the dog and then finally comes back for the cat

Hey Copy Cat ! It requires some grey matter, even to copy and modify a riddle! The story goes like this ...a man wants to carry a bail of grass , goat and tiger to the island or other side of a river.

In this case, is the dog allergic to the bird or is he Vegetarian ?

No way... with the animals what the man has, he has to sacrifice the bird either to the Cat or to the Dog!!

This is the solution of your riddle?
