White Spots - White spots on the nails are very common and usually recur. These small, semi-circular spots result from injury to the base (matrix) of the nail, where nail cells are produced. They are not a cause for concern, and will eventually grow out.

What do you mean by white blobs, it is something you can see through the nail, that could be nail fungus. If is skin, just let your fingernails go a bit longer so you won't mess with it.

If you work around water (ie dishwasher or something simular) then it might be over hydrated skin under your nails. If it's soft and kind of hard to pull off that's probably it. If it's on your nail it's probably a "nail bruise"

If you hurt your finger, especially the nail, that's what those spots are...They usually occur after you've hurt yourself and then clipped your nails...You're fine

No worries they will go away. Sounds like you need more calcium in your diet.
