I don't really hang out with that many boys, i talk to two in my classes, but they are much closer to other girls than they are to me. what can I do to get a date within the next 2-3 weeks?

Tell one of the guys that you noticed that they don't have a date yet for the dance and that it's getting close. Let him know that you really want to go and that you think that you would have a lot of fun with him. If you think that he might shoot you down....tell him up front that you're looking for a guy friend to take you to the dance. If he knows that it's not a "date" then he'll probably go. I'm sure he wants to go just like you do. What's the worst that will happen? He'll say no or he already has a date. So what? Move on to the next guy :)

start hanging around more guys, guys that you dont think have a date yet for this dance. Look your best and flirt, by smileing a lot and talking more to them. Ask them if they are going to this dance thats coming up and see what they say, if they ask you say that your not sure yet, depends if you have a date or not. Just dont look like your despert for one. But make it clear your looking, so than they will know. Keep hanging out with the ones that still need one and just be sweet and kind to them, they will ask you in no time at all.

The key in HS is to socialize...don't limit yourself to talking to these two guys. You have to talk to EVERYBODY. Make a lot of friends, be seen talking to guys, and suddenly boys will feel the need to come after you. There will be a demand for you and a sense of pride from the guy that asks you to the dance.

first, try talking casually with ANY boy, if you are shy around them. This will break the ice. Then, if you have a crush ask them out, if they don't already have a date, the most important thing is that you are never forced to go with a DATE go with your friends. It's a dance so, dance!

If you're feeling outgoing you can ask one of the two boys you talk to in class to the dance. Or you can ask one of your friends to ask a boy you like to the dance. Good luck! :)

have you tried asking someone to the dance instead of waiting for someone to ask you? Trust me, it's not social suicide. Talk about it with the guys you know, see what they think about going to the dance with u. Is there someone outside of school that you could ask that you wouldn't mind going with? and if all else fails, you can go with a bunch of your girlfriends.

What you want is to "get asked" to the dance. What guys want is to get laid. So, the way girls get what they want is to make guys think they have a shot at getting laid. But you have to be careful about who you go with. Don't lead a guy on too much.

start dressing up a little. If you wear jeans a lot.. wear dresses and skirts. spend time on your makeup. be more friendly. and if you really want to go.. ask one of the boys!!! you don't really need to wait for them!
