The Living Pulpit observed: “Sometimes, it seems that everyone assumes that the doctrine of the trinity is standard Christian theological fare,” but it added that it is not “a biblical idea.”

The idea that Jesus is God is not a biblical idea,

Meaning that Jesus is what he said he was.

The Son of God.

neither. It's not good to say that he is the son of God beacuse the God made us all, how could he have a son. Jesus is not the god either because the only god is THE GOD which has the power to do anything. Dont ever confused Jesus for God. Jesus is one of the Prophets of God. He is not dead God took him when the jews wanted to kill him. Someday he will return back.
Jesus is not the son of God. He was, obviously enough, the son of Mary.

Both. Jesus is God the Fathers son. He himself is God the Son. Treat the word "god" as a title representing both the deity of the Father and the Son (being that God is 3 in person, 1 in essence) Basic Biblical trinity.

RE: Mark- REally? Jesus didnt want to be called "Lord"? Then why was he worshipped 6 times in Matthew alone? I thought only God could be worshipped? : O Otherwise Jesus is a blasphemer for not rebuking his disciples. tsk tsk

Jesus is the son of God. At Matthew 3:16,17 states: After being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water; and look! the heavens were opened up, and he saw descending like a dove God's spirit coming upon him. Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: "This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved."

Jesus is God, one of the three Persons of the Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. "Son of God" is his place in the Trinity.

For Christians they have: God Father, God Son (Jesus) and God Holy Spirit

We worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, neither confounding the Persons nor dividing the substance. For there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost; but the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one, the glory equal, the majesty co-eternal. The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten; the Son is of the Father alone, not made, nor created, but begotten; the Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son, neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding.

Jesus is the son of god and god, in the sense, that you have a father and your his son!
If your father is royalty that makes you royalty just like Jesus is god!
