Like on that show on MTV..I think it's called Parental Control? lol I would NOT! Thankfully, i'm above the age where my parents can dictate things like that...but that doesn't stop my mom from making suggestions.

If my parents came to me - seriously - with a suggestion about some guy that they know...then I would consider it. I know that they always have my best interests at hand, know my 'type', my personality, my sense of humor, etc. I think that if they have the nerve to ask me (which is something pretty big, seeing as I'm totally opinionated), then I should at least give them a minute of my time. If I meet them and theres no attraction there, then no, I wouldn't pursue it. I'm 22, so I'm WAY above the age where they can tell me what to do - although they never actually did tell me what I should or shouldn't do. But yeah, I think I'd at least think about it. Now, if it was something like Parental Control, it would be a definite NO! no matter what...but if they met this person and really liked him, thats a different story. Good question!

I actually have let my Mom & Dad each pick out a date for me. Why, I ask myself? Haha! Unfortunately neither one worked out at all. One guy was really boring and we had nothing in common, and the other guy was like a comedian (but his jokes weren't funny) the whole time. I was like, my parents don't know me at all! I don't think I'll be letting them fix me up anytime soon! :D

Hell no. Maybe my dad, but I would never let my mom pick a girl for me. I would end up with the most homely girl because she felt sorry for her. Now I can't answer this for your parents, but it probably isn't the best idea.

No, no, NO! The type of guy my parents want for me is the nice, all-AP Jewish boy who has the potential to make more money than me — basically, a good provider. I don't see the point of marrying a good provider when you can be one yourself.

I'm too old for mine parental troops to pick my dates. But thankfully they love my man!

Sure I would trust them to pick at least one date, AFTER telling them what kind of person I wanted to date! If the date didn't go well, I would tell them what was wrong and why their choice was wrong.
