Your dog will explode! Not really, your dog will be fine, cat food is just higher in fat & cholestrol than dog food. That's why they like it so much!

It's not gonna kill em but it's not good for em either. There are different ingredients in dog food vs cat food. Otherwise producers would have no reason to make two different formulas and sell them that way. Dogs get fat when hey eat cat food. Cats and dogs need a different diet. Dogs can have all kinds of health problems if they eat cat food. Not if they do it once in a while but on a regular basis it could cause some problems. I watched my brother let his mini pincher eat cat food all the time and that dog is the most unhealthy dog I've seen in a long time.

Your dog shouldn't be allowed to eat cat food...that's why there's dog food and cat food. The different foods are formulated for each type of animal and it's body condition. Some dogs will be ok if they've eaten some cat food, however there are others who will become extremely bloated.

It's ok for a dog to eat cat food, but it's not ok for cats to eat dog food.

This is what my vet told me about our dogs eating cat food, and our cats eating dog food.

For dogs to eat cat food it wont hurt them one bit. Its pretty much the same thing with one difference. There is something in dog food that is not in cat food. It causes cats to have Liver, and urinary track diseases.

Cats are more sensitive to their food. To meet their picky appetite, it's foods tent to be more flavor and fat.
ans it's tent to be more expensive too.
Mix some of it with dog food, then gradually withdraw it.
If it's dry food and your dog selected it out, add a little water few minutes before feeding, to let the flavor mixed up.
I don't see why you should take any chance with cat food, when it doesn't benefit either of you or your dog.

Dogs and cats have different nutritional requirements and it isn't good for either one to eat the opposites food as their main diet.

Sometimes accidents happen and one might get a nibble of the others food, it won't kill them but it shouldn't be the main source of nutrition.

Dogs will react differently to different diets. The dogs stool will be the judge. If it is to soft or runny (for lack of a better term) discontinue... Always consult your vet when in doubt for your breed!

This individual says not to feed your dog dog food.. go figure!
