Hi, Shanna,
I think, it's definitely possible to "lust" at first sight.... I think "love" usually takes a little longer, though.... The way I think of it, lust is desire for the body... If you've only seen them, that's the extent of it.... Love is (among other things) appreciating their personality, something that is hard, maybe impossible, to judge just from their outward appearance.... The good news is, lust isn't necessarily a bad thing.... It often leads to "love", since it gets you to spend more time learning about their non-visible gifts.... :)
>>>>>>>
It doesn't happen in an instant but when you do fall in love, you can experience this like "seeing the person for the first time" even if you know each other or have seen each other before. Now you can also call that "love at first sight"....;D
>>>>>>
So, Shanna, go for it...... ;) .. you will find it out...
You are the "only one", who really can decide..
>>>>>>>
I wish you : "a lot of luck and Love".. in your future!!
>>>>>>>

Thanks, for the question!;)

My regards!

No I don't believe in love at first site. I believe that you should get to know someone first before you can truly say that you are in love with someone. You wouldn't meet some girl in a bar and immediately call that person your best friend. Love takes time to grow. It takes time to find out what a person is really like. People can put up a front for a little while but sooner or later the real person starts to show. Wait until you see the real person and then decide if it is truly love.

It has been for me. This is an excellent approach written by Dr. Joe Cool. You can adapt it for hs/college/work. And, yes, love is always worth the chance - remembering sex is not love.
Joe Cool's Advice Column for the Day: A BOY!
The first thing here is obviously his looks. You love/like him and yet you haven't spoken with him yet. So you like his hunkness. Ok, that works.
The second thing is we have a communication gap - as in total mega-gap. You're going to have to communicate to let him know you like him. OK - let's try mystery.
Sleuth trail him to his locker so he doesn't know the angel of love is stalking him. Notes to his locker go like this.
Day 1 - Hi. You're in on my classes and I'm going to flunk if I don't stop staring at you.
Day 2 - Ha! You didn't stop my staring yesterday. Are you trying to get me into detention? If yes, wear something green tomorrow.
Day 3 - Okay. We're going to try it another way today. If you are open to going out for a coke - my treat - then be the last person to leave the classroom after ____ period.
Day 4 - zzzzzzzzzzz Class is so boring w/o looking at you. So I am about to give this up. One last test and maybe I'll let you find out who thinks you are a Five Alarm Fire. Joe Cool - this incredible online genius is basically an honest guy. He just knows you will like me. If you agree - wear blue tomorrow. Hm...dark blue if you like ice in your coke.
Day 5 Ready or not! I'll be at the door when you walk out last again. Then you won't have to walk alone.

I believe males follow that route more often than not because they are very visual motivated.

As far as us females, we quickly fall in & out visually very often.

Guys usually hold on and persue strongly and if successful, have strong memories to speak about many yrs later.

I don't think you can love someone without knowing them.As such i don't think it's possible to have love at first sight.I think it's usually lust at first sight. If there is an initial mutual attracton though ,why not go for it,see what happens.
