I know this woman, she is in her late 20's now and she swears that she use to get into physical fights with demons in her bedroom when she was about 13. I have known her about 10 years and she doesn't seem insane from what I can tell.
She said she would get into fist fights with this one paticular demon every so often and even had bruises and broken stuff in her room because of the fights.
She honestly believed this happened and said it happened because she was so strong in her Christian beliefs that the demons tried to attack her because her faith angered them.
Do you think someone can get into a fist fight with a demon? Do you think she is crazy or was she actually physically attacked by demons?
I personally think that it did not happen. What do you think?

Sounds a bit like scizophrenia to me. Or she may have been being molested by someone in the family, who would come into her room late at night, and this is the story she convinced herself of so that she didn't have to face the truth. Or both.

Absolutely. If is quite possible for a demon to fully manifest physically and interact with people. The most common occurance of this are the occurances of the Incubus and the Succubus. It does not happen often as the amount of strength requred is extreme...but it does happen. Have seen it once or twice myslef during my travels in the East.

I think that it is not possible to get into a fist fight. There are some Religions that are way out there. They think people have demon in them and the pastors can suck the demon out, this is all for show. Most people think they are demonfied (have a demon in thier bodies) but they arn't.

first let me say , i am of the old beleifs. i do not put down any religion , yes some one can get into physical fights with demons . it happens here at my home all the time . they attack not because of you being strong in your beliefs , but they attack because they feel you are a weak link in the chain,and by winning against you they now have a foot hold into this world of man .i am a protector of people. i have seen these things first hand and experienced them to the fullest. i protect the people in this house and some others .

Many folks have reported physical altercations with the unseen. Good Christians are their favorite targets.
There was a man named Padre Pio, now Saint Pio, who was regularly physically attacked by the unseen. Beaten up many nights.
Are you familiar with the Amityville Horror? I knew George Lutz. He passed away this year. He and his wife Kathy were lifted right off the ground as if something grabbed them by their necks.
So, yes, it can and does happen.

Several of the Saints used to get beaten up by demons all the time. St John Vianni "The Cure of Ars" was constantly tormented--one time they tried to burn up his bed while he was sleeping. He is one of the Saints that are in-corrupt and his bed is on display to this day. Also Padre Pio who was a real Stigmatist was beaten alot by demons

We often wake up with bruises that we got while
fighting spirits during our astral travels while we sleep.
I have fought demons.
The othernight I saw my room, but know I was still asleep.
I call this my spirit being awake, and I have spiritual experiences
during these times. I heard what sounded like the Beast in Daniel stomping his feet and roaring. I started talking smack to it, but something told me that anger only creates an energy
in us that makes the evil being STRONGER!
So I asked God to handle it.

Her perception of what was happening to her was off. Satan is not another person that you can fist fight with. He is a spirit...a fallen angel. He can appear to look like a person. But he is not. She would have been battling the air. If she injured herself, it was because she hit things in her own room. She needs help to understand all this. Christians do not need to put up with Satan's 'attacks' They have power to overcome him by the name of Jesus, by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. She needs instructions to know how to fight him. Greater is He (Jesus) that is in us, than he (satan) that is in the world.

Should demons exist, then it seems just as likely that one could confront themn physically as not. Were one to believe in the existence of demons, it would seem silly to not believe that they could manifest physically...
