Yes, diet pills are terrible for you. Not only do they damage your body, they don't really lead to weight loss. Some of them reduce water retention, so you weigh less - but there's no fat lost, only water. That kind of weight loss comes back in a snap, not to mention that your body NEEDS water and these pills are bad for you.
Other diet pills reduce appetite. First, the effect doesn't last, so the pills only work for a while. Second, the stuff is like speed (amphetimines). Side affects from the jitters all the way up to hallucinations. P.O.I.S.O.N.
Unfortunately, I've found (btw, I'm 55 years old and have had weight problems all my life) that a few months after every diet, I was fatter. What finally worked (but slowly) was walking every day for at least 30 minutes, accepting that I'll never look like a male model, and trying to eat only when hungry. After I while, I also gave up all foods with a lot of sugar, but other than that, I eat normally.
Dieting makes you fatter. Diet pills are worse and also make you sick. The various diet teas and special diet food are an expensive joke.
Take it from an "old man". Love yourself as you are, mild excercise for health, and try as much as possible to get in touch with your body and eat when hungry.
Good luck.

You could do what some people do.. Have your dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. The reasoning is that you have the heavier meals in the morning so you break it down during the day and break down the smallest meal while you're sleeping. Or if you don't feel like having steak for first thing in the morning, you can have a LARGE breakfast and and a small dinner. Give it try!

Not eating at all has to be one of the dumbest ways people try to lose weight. Your starving yourself so your body goes into survival mode and tries to keep all of your fat. And when you do decided to eat your body takes it all in and turns it into more fat. Excercise 20-30 minutes a day, it's not that hard. Like instead of going on the computer, take a jog. Also eat lots of fruits and veggies and stay a way from huge amounts of grains and junk food!

Exercise combined with healthy eating habits is the key. Join a gym and talk to a personal trianer and nutritionalist or try Weight Watchers.

Try eating one meal a day, or not eating at all.
I've been doing that for the past 3 weeks and people are noticing.
Eat air & tiny dust particles.

try eating things healthy for you (no sugar, low fat [don't cut fat out - you'll loose hair and get sick if you do], lots'a water and veggies, etc.) and eat enough and in small, frequent meals. this increases you metabolism and helps you lose weight (but still exercise).
