Hi, Mimi,
Usually, if someone is going to break up with you.. they have already made up in their mind.. that they are through with you.. and are more than likely you will be the last person to find out.. .;//... Therefore, there are "signs" of an impending breakup.. even though really the breakup has already taken place... They just have not informed you yet.. ;//
>>>>>>>>>>
Some of the obvious signs are :
1. Phone calls and other forms of interaction start to decrease significantly...

2. A noticeable change in the behavior of friends and/or family of your soon to be former friend...

3. The return or relinquishing of a personal item or a shared item. (e.g. if they give you back your 20" color TV because they are about to buy one of their own)

4. Begins to be busier than normal with no real solid explanation as to what they are doing or what is going on...

5. Claiming to need "space" or personal time apart from you..

6. Your mate asking for assistance from others of the opposite sex, without even notifying you or asking for your assistance...

7. Taking additional responsibility for things beyond anyone's control, (when they say, "Its not you, its me")

8. Refusing to answer the phone.. when you call or having a friend answer the phone and say : that they are busy only to never have your call returned....
>>>>>
All I can say to you, Mimi, is : try to move on with your "own" life..
When the right one comes along, you will know...
Dont search love : it will find you...
And, when it does.. that person is going to respect you.. for who you are...
>>>>>>>>>
I know it is going to be hard..give it time.. and everything will work out fine....
>>>>>>>
I wish you : a lot of courage.. and strenght!
And all the love and happiness, in your future!!
>>>>>>>

Thanks, for the question!

My regards!

It means that they really like you but that you are not the one for them. Usually it refers to them meeting someone else and thinking that they are wasting time with you when they could have that other person. It's funny when they don't get what they want and try to come back and rekindle things.

It means you.....so sorry, but thats the harsh truth. In some cases, though, it does mean that it is really them and not you. It depends on the circumstances.
It sucks to be rejected....we all know.

There are a few ways to translate this:
1. Its really you, but you aren't important enough for me to explain it to you.
2. I need to move on and you aren't in my plans. (I am taking time for me.)
3. I found someone better than you but I am keeping my options open for later by letting you go gently.

Its not you its me, basically there trying ot make you feel bad, like a guilt trip......because there making them self seem like there the ones wrong, so you can turn around, and be like, don't say that, its me.......and that's what some people thrive off of, guilt trips......

It could mean that he doesn't dislike her, he just wants to be single and 'play the field'. Or maybe he doesn't want to offend her by telling her he isn't interested.

It means it's you, 100%. It's a poor attempt to spare your feelings.
