To save yourself from running out of money while looking for a job is to look for one here contact the Italian Consulate in your home city and ask them how you go about applying for a work visa and begin the process of filing the paperwork and make sure it's a job that you're guranteed to so you don't get over there and you have to spend a lot of money holding yourself up. You need to find out if you have to go over there to interview or find out can you do it via email or phone depending on the employer. People that I know who had jobs overseas secured them here and then went over so the money they saved up didnt run out on them so fast. You need to sit down and figure out your expenses and if you can stock up on the necessities and have someone in your family or a friend to ship items to you like toiletries since American products cost more overseas than when you buy them here so get yourself enough toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, and feminine hygiene products. First and foremost you need to secure a residence and that's after you get the job so you can have the money saved up for the first and second month's rent.
