Chances of getting pregnant on the IUD are that of a woman who has had surgery! If inserted properly!

I got my period as well when it was inserted and spotted for 3 months and after that never had a period so it sounds very normal to me.

hpt will not interfere with the test results.

It used to be very common for women to get pregnant on the IUD back in the 80's and 90's but its very rare now a days! they have perfected the IUD!

the IUD depends... is it a hormonal IUD or a copper IUD. If it is the hormonal IUD then that could most likely explain the missing of your cycle. The IUD is more than 99% effective, and so the odds that you are pregnant, while it is possible, is very slim. I would wait until I took the pregnancy test before getting too worried... however, if it turns out you are pregnant, you want to get to the drs asap. because the pregnancy can cause the IUD to imbed itself into the lining of your uterus and it would require surgical extraction... yipes... i dont even want to imagine that one...

to help you feel better my nurse in my OB clinic just got an IUD placed and she only had one long cycle and hasn't had her period in 6 months. but she's definately not pregnant. Hope all this helps.

I have an IUD and I have regular periods. I don't know what type you have but if your doc says it's normal it must be. Irregular periods mean just that some months you get them some you don't. I wouldn't be stressing about pregnancy right at this moment, but if you start to show other symptoms of pregnancy, or you have pains in your sides I would be concnerned because you run a higher risk of eptopic pregnancy with an IUD.

I so now your pain. I am 28 with 4 kids. They would not tie my tubes until I ws 26. I kind of regret it now but anyways. You already know bc doesn't work for you (me either) so our bodies react differently to different things. Since having my tubes tied I have 4 day periods where before they were 7-8 days. This could be the way it will be for you. I think iud's are alot better at preventing pregnancy. I think you should wait it out before doin a hpt/

What state are you in? See in Michigan the requirement for a tubaligation is having 3 babies or being 27. I had mine done at 24 y/o after having my last child. Part of me regrets having it but then the other part is glad its done and pregnancy is one thing that I won't be dealing with again unless I'm 1 of the 1% that gets pregnant despite the tubal.

Hate crimes rules are approximately extra desirable than in basic terms unequal punishment for comparable crimes. They have been initially enacted as a potential of attempting to point the enjoying field in areas the place minorities at the instant are not likely to get equivalent therapy under the regulation. traditionally, if the perp became black and the sufferer became white, extra factors could be assigned to the case and he'd get a lots harsher sentence from a conservative court docket than if the races have been reversed. To at present time, many conservative jurisdictions- with elected prosecutors and judges- proceed to handle an attack on a individual for being gay in yet differently than an attack on a individual for funds. the perception is that the gay individual ought to have finished some thing to instigate it, like an undesirable strengthen- the "gay panic" protection- or flaunting their sexuality, or permitting the defendant to dredge up abuse as a toddler as a potential of garnering sympathy and excusing the crime. Hate crimes rules additionally enable State and Federal government to step in whilst that's going to become clean that interior sight government have not got the factors, or the inclination, to precise bypass after the culprits; the project is that, with a intentionally botched prosecution by using a decide and prosecutor up for re-election, in front of a stacked jury, a individual can't be retried for the comparable offense whether all of the information factors to their guilt. every physique who would not think of justice in some cases takes a backseat to politics resides in a fantasy international, and no concern is extra politically charged in the Bible Belt than sexual orientation. Edit: Yeah, "ideally" every physique could be dealt with the two under the regulation. yet for people who invoke the finished "theory police" and unfastened speech arguments, you have of course allowed your popular minister/ baby-kisser/ political pundit to permit you comprehend what the regulation says extremely of definitely reading it and making your individual judgment. apparently, and extremely telling, is that none of those people are using this argument to call for the removing of religion from the checklist of secure instructions in the present hate crimes rules.
