For example, we went to war with Iraq to "protect the world" from weapons of mass destruction. Is it for or against the Bible?

The US should not be WORLD POLICE, that's what is getting the US into so many problems with different culture and nations.

The bible had nothing to do with Iraq. Iraq was about greed and liek all greedy babies, the US bit off far more than it can ever chew.

Don't forget, Empires rise and fall. There was the mighty Persian empire, the British empire (when they were trying to conquer the world), and many many more throughout history.

First of all, we love the in the USA Bible, second, we should only be the world police when the UN fails to act as such, which is pretty much always. If the UN and Nato didnt suck, we wouldnt have to liberate Iraq, threaten Iran, Venzeula, or North Korea. Better safe than sorry.

The Bible has nothing to do with it. That said the USA tries to be the world police but will go down in shame like Vietnam.

imo theres much more going on than is on the surface ... many world crisis are instigated and even created to bring govts into line with US policy and US policy seems to be moving towards globalization of everything ... the new world order ... centralization of power and economic systems under the few and gradually reducing the power of the general populations ...

So many libs decry the US for trying to be the world's police but then they want us to go and do just that in Darfur. They only want the US to be the world's police when it suits them.

You are right, we should leave world peace to the Iranians and North Koreans, they will be much better stewards than the US
