Why is it when you are?

Why is it when you're in the bath and you pass wind, it always smells worse than when you are walking in a room?

Because baths are in a small space typically, thus the reason for a stonger smell. There is a smaller area to cover.

Cause usually you are sitting in the tub and it comes up from right underneath you, when you are walking there is still some air flow and it dissipitates faster.
