YES, it can. Please call your doctor. My daughter had a rash from medicine so I called mine. They said they didn't need to see her but I insisted. They said they were glad I brought her in, as by probably the next day, she would have had to be hospitalized. I took her on the second day taking the medicine, three days was all it would take! I don't wan't to scare you, I just hope you will now be aware of how severe a rash can be, and take action. Good Luck

My children had lil red bumps one time, and it was b/c I was washing their clothes with oxi clean. It looked so much like chicken pox. I would suggest getting a very mild soap for both bathtime and laundry usage. The sad part is this could be a long waiting game, to see what improves the rash or makes it appear. Are they eating any foods that are new? Any new pets? How about bleach? Is she wearing anything new that she could be allergic too?? These are just some thoughts, I hope some help.. Feel free to email me and I can maybe shoot off some more ideas.. Good luck, I know it can be quite frusterating!

One of the side effects of the medicine could be a rash. It depends on what kind of medicine it is.
