They don't work any harder than any one else, and no the government is not doing enough to keep illegals out, they have slowed the flow, but their still coming, in San Diego they pulled 4 Mexicans out of a tunnel, trying to sneak in that way, the hole was to small or they were to fat, when they showed them they were of average size, they were just to big for the hole so much for starving Mexicans. They caught them by the cameras they just put up, and if they hadn't no one would have known they were their and they could have died, they were stuck their for over 5 hr. just trying to get them out. This shows the coyote's are getting desperate to get them across, it's not so easy any more. But still the government needs to stop it not just slow it.

No, the United States is not doing enough to keep illegal immigrants from coming into this country.

I think as far as how hard they work it really depends on the person. Just like some americans work harder then others so do immigrants. Some work really hard or some not so hard. As far as stopping illegal immigration the government should do more to keep people out, they should also simplify the process for getting in so it's easier for people who want to come here to do it legally.

No Immigrants don't work harder: And the United States is NOT doing anywhere Near enough to secure our borders. Only when the Flood of Illegals becomes a Dried up Dead END for those attempting to Enter teh US Illegally will they have done enough. Not Before.

I think immigrants work hard maybe harder because they are greatful for being here and are greatful for what this country has to offer their citizens. As for are we doing enough to keep out the illegal immigrants, maybe not. There are a lot of them that are taking up jobs from legal citizens. We should be more strict.

I think immigrants work no harder or less hard than people born here. Some of both groups work hard, and some are slackers. Regardless of where you were born.

And no, the US is not doing enough to keep illegals out.

I think when it comes down to things, a lot of immies aren't going to "F" around. Some are greatful to be here and be able to work to raise their families happily. The majority of people who disrespect this land are these American born people who just don't understand what it's like to live in Mexico with no chance to get running water and not being able to get work. It just takes a while for some American borns to understand. But when it comes down to it immigrants will do more things than a born would.
I live in the DFW area and I have not ever had one white man come to my lawn and mow it, and if he did I don't think he would do a very good job for what immigrants are asking to be paid for.

I don't think they are doing enough to keep them out, and they won't. Immigration makes our economy, bottom line.

I think it entirely depends on the individual, from the person who walks across the border pregnant into a hospital to give birth and then lives substantially on aid to families with dependant children, to the single worker who is trying to squirrel away money to retire on in their home country some day.

I think the US has wholley failed in acting to keep illegal immigrants from coming, starting with the most basic enforcement of existing laws. It is one thing to say they must be given health care or schooling if here, it is quite another to say you won't ask immigration status in hospitals or schools to facilitate removal once emergency treatment is provided. Every time we create a policy to 'knowingly not ask' someone has put in place a huge loophole in the system. In sanctuary areas, the loopholes have long since swallowed up the system to the detriment of the entire country, and most particularly to the detriment of our children's education and health care for our sick.

I can't believe these numbers have been known for so long and have been in the press so little. Starting there, the entire government and media system has very little credibility, going forward.

I think in order to prove the point of "America needs Immigrants" generally they work harder but I work hard but my job doesn't consist of sweat and slave work. So i guess in the field of work most Illegals do I wouldn't consider it working harder just more to get what they need I guess!
