I too have an Uncle who's had his phone cut off, all I know is he lives in London (Soho area?), last heard from him about 2years ago, haven't seen him for 12 years.

if you have the old number, find out through the operator or on google.com where the area code covers, then go to www.192.com (or co.uk - can't remember which) type in his name and location and it will bring up the electoral roll results with his address on it.
Good luck!
(In Britain the are code is usually 4 or 5 digits long starting 0, followed by a 6 digit phone number)

Im assuming you have no idea of his location? Not even the area?
Does he read the paper? You could try posting an add saying your looking for him, if you could afford a private eye it would prob be easy as people always leave a trace...
