to what extent do you use the Internet at school, work, and at home?
and why do you guys use the internet? for practical reasons, entertainment, or social reasons. please give me your opion!

I use mine for alot of reasons. Research, fun, for work. My grandkids use it alot with their school work. I keep with the news, since I dont believe none of whats on the boob tube.

I use my computer a ton of work since I am a Mary Kay consultant plus I use to answer emails that our work related. I use the internet for many different reasons including social and entertainment but mostly for work reasons. Hope that helps!

I use the Internet at school during advisory. I do not use it at work. At home, I am always on the Internet. I use the Internet mostly for entertainment purposes, but also for research and communications purposes. I need to use it for school for many things.

I only use the internet at home. I use it for e-mailing my family and friends, and for entertainment. I also keep my photos, and I enjoy doing things with that. And I like the research engines and the news.

I use it the most at school, which is alot. I don't go to work, and I hardly ever go on the internet at home. I go on it for entertainment and education.

I use the internet to check mail and check the news sites. I don't have cable so it is the only way I get continuous news coverage. I am a mom so I also check out baby and parenting web sites.

i don't work and don't go to school so i use it at home. i use it for practical reasons and entertainment.

Work ~ 80% of the day
Home ~ very little ~ check personal e-mail and shopping
NO school.

at school, I use it less than an hour a week, but usually, I don't use it at all
at home, I use it for studying (5 hours a week), and for fun on rare occasions!( 1 hour or less a week)
