if you had to giv your 14 year old son a magazine,which of these two[types] would you rate worst and not give him[remember its just a q you have to anwer which you would rathr your 14 year old son having]
A: 'Lads Mags'' such as FHM,Nuts,Maxim,Loaded,ZOO,they all print semi nudity[just breasts,no gentials]
B:Playboy[full nudity,but softcore]
my argument is that a is worse,as these magaines just objectife women ,while playboy [most of the time] glorises them.
what you guys think?

I've never heard of any of those others except Maxim and I thought Maxim was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen, so I would definitely go for the playboy.
Youre right, it is softcore but i wouldnt go as far as saying it glorifies women. It might glorify women who have stick figures and big boobs...but not women in general.
I am a firm believer that those magazines just put images in guys heads (especially the younger ones) of how a woman is supposed to look and thats why so many young girls have eating disorders, because they want to look like the girls that the guys are looking at...
but whatever. just my opinion.

To be honest, I think he is still too young for that. Then again, I am cristian, and I don't think it is right at all. I have three kids my self, and I would not show them that at all ever. That will just make them want to go out there at an early age. I mean looking females for sex. There is to much std's out there and death. But, that is my opinion. By the way, I got pregnant at 14. Your son could also get anyone pregnant, even if he doesn't want to.

They both are gross. My son is 14, saw a Maxim amid some car magazines he bought at a yard sale - brought it to me and we talked about it. He was not impressed.
Give your son some Hot Rod car magazines or Star Wars Insider or something instead - try to feed his true interests.

Id go with playboy and a book of anatomy that way he can see how a real womans body works and looks too. just to give him both sides of it.
