Studies have proven over and over that the eating habits of pregnant mothers in industrialized nations does not effect the babies final birth weight and health. The baby will use whatever nutrients are available in the body, even so much as to suck the calcium from your teeth if it cant get it elsewhere.
There are outside factors that effect birth weight and health, and its not the foods you eat and nutrients you get. Even folic acid is pretty useless during the bulk of pregnancy, its before you realize that you're pregnant that the baby uses the highest amount for development.
Sickness, food born illness, smoking and ingesting other toxins like alcohol and drugs, genetics, and injury to the mother during pregnancy are the greatest factors in birth weight and health.
You biggest concern is to eat healthy and eat well for your own health, since your body has to be in peak condition to provide the fetus with its nutritional needs AND provide your own body with nutrients for repairs and maintenance

Im 5 months on the 20th and I eat anything!!
Im still very small and i have a lump but, nobody can tell im pregnant. I eat whatever, whenever im hungry. I guess the only thinG is I cant eat large amounts. I eat through the WHOLE day!!
I crave McDonalds french fries, and Taco Bell's bean burritos. Also, Tuna sandwhichs or Mac and Cheese. I used to love Milk, than when I got pregnant, I became Lac-toast-and tolerant. Which SUCKS!!
So, no icecream or milk products.

I ate healthy foods most of the time, but once in a while I had a "craving" for a fish sandwich and a vanilla milkshake. It did NOT affect the weight of the babies( I had twins)since they were a little bit early, but about a month, however,it did affect my weight,I gained 72 lbs with them, and they only weighed 4 lbs 15 oz and 4 lbs 12 oz at birth. Just an FYI and thanks for asking your question:)

I have always hated macaroni and cheese and hot dogs and mountain dew.
Those are my boyfriends favorite foods. He could eat them everyday.
Well...obviously it was my babys favorite too cause thats all I ever wanted. I remember making mac and cheese one day, eating a couple bites and thinking "...what the hell am I doing? Since when do i eat this?"
But yeah...
My baby was perfectly fine. One ounce shy of being eight pounds and very healthy. He has quite an appetite on him now.
Oh, and I also ate a lot of hot pockets, lol. I was working up until my ninth month and at work I would have to eat something quick and hot pockets always worked.

I ate a lot of junk food with my son, and it didnt really affect his health, but it did affect his weight, which turned out to be a good thing because he was born 2 months early. He was 4 pounds 9 ounces at that point. I ate healthier with my daughter, she was smaller, but other than that, their health was the same, because I took vitamins with both of them.

i've always eaten like i was preggers since i was a kid, but i'd say the wierdest thing i did was dip everything in bbq sauce. especially my "moons over my hammy" sandwich at denny's. deffinately made it taste better! i still eat lots of stuff with bbq sauce to this day.
