Recently I asked a question on yahoo answers.fr about how diificult it is to become a citizen there. They made it seem really difficult, one person even suggested that I go to The U.K. and visit France from there which would not suffice for me. Any info?

France has taken a huge number of immigrants in the past. That recently contributed to the race riots. I think they are considering a new stance om immigration.

I'd suggest going to UK and commuting, lots of french people do it. Of course, if that is not enough then marry a french lady :)
