Can you help me with some web pages or other sources where I find relevant information about negative side of antibiotics, namely why and when there are infections after using them. I need general info and some examples.

as a microbiologist, i can tell you that the main concern is fungal overgrowth (usually candida) causing thrush and vaginal yeast infection. another concern is clostridium dificile overgrowth in your gut. c.diff is a normal inhabitant of your gut, but when antibiotics kill off the other bacteria, c.diff proliferates causing diarrhea.
