I am looking for free very good and clear pictures of chroes clip art for my toddlers. Also any suggestions of good chores for toddlers would be of great assistance. too young to read but old enough to work around the house. Examples: Make bed, feed pets, brush teeth, get dressed, clean table off etccc....

What age do you consider to be toddler age? I don't think I'd let a 2 or 3 year old (which is what I consider to be toddler age) do many of the things you mentioned due to safety issues!

A 2 or 3 year old can certainly learn to pick up and put away toys and clothes, but they need assistance with brushing their teeth to insure they do it correctly.

Why not enjoy them a little while longer as babies? They could work side by side with YOU doing the chores, learning the correct, safe way to do them. That way when they are old enough to them by themselves they will have the know-how . God bless!

They may overfeed pets, drop dishes clearing off the table, and I can't imagine how they would be able to make up a bed...........

I think it's wonderful that you want to give your children reposnsibilities at a young age. This instills a sense of worth and ethics in them. When my son was young I made a poster with pictures and made a weekly chart. I used stars for when the job or task was complete and certain amounts of stars "bought" things.. 10 = ice cream 15 = a trip to the park. This was not to bribe the children but to reward them for being on tast and completing their work. They also learned the consequences of not completing as they didnt get their rewards. Of course the tasks were age appropriate. Here's a link i found with some clip art that may help you . http://www.jennysmith.net/search-lds-clipart.php?mediaid=1019 good luck

First off, if your toddlers are too young to read, the most chores they really need to be doing is maybe helping a parent or older sib pick up toys, picking up and throwing away little bits of trash. At that age, they need to be able to play to learn, not being forced to be your housekeepers. You should be looking for things you can print to help them learn, not things to make them work.
