Now, what I meant to ask, was do you think that his clothes could be sending the wrong message to his teachers? We live in Ridgeland, South Carolina, an all-black community (almost all black, anyway.) He says half the school dresses with their pants falling down and that I shouldn't be worried, but I am.
Now, I was wondering, if it is inapropriate, what should we comprimise on?

I am stressed out because one of his teachers and said his T-Shirt was inapropriate. It was grey and had nothing on it. I knew he was wearing the clothes he was wearing the day he was kindapped by his father - he had to go strait to school - but isn't that rediculous? He isn't hideious, is he?

What is to compromise. If he buys his own clothes he can buy what he wants within the schools guidelines. In my teens school in Texas he would be sent home if he dressed like that. My daughter knows I buy her clothes and will only buy respectable clothes within the schools guidelines. I think some of their rules are stupid but oh well. Whoever buys his clothes is responsible for making sure he is dressed appropriately.

That is how the kids dress today. To be honest, some look like hoodlums...no offense. My son likes to dress that way, too. There is no reason to have that fall-down-pants look. See if he can wear one that is closer to his size and most of the styles today have that baggy look anyways and still look stylish. He must've had a different shirt on unless maybe the shirt looked like a nightgown on him for the teacher to complain.

I didn't get the kidnapped part.

If he lives in a black community and he wears ties and tux's all the time (like you suggested in previous question) he will come home every day with black eyes and bloody noses....get over yourself.
