I think it tastes like crap but just wondering if there is anyone who likes it, not based on an aquired taste.

I've never understood why anyone would WANT to develop a taste for alcohol. I have heard and seen so many unhappy stories connected with alcohol consumption. ...never happy stories.

The very first time I tried beer, I loved it. I was 11 and found a six pack, I drank the whole thing and was wasted. the beer was Molson export. (which I still drink to this day 22 years later) I did, however, lose most of my vim for beer drinking when I turned of legal age. Something about doing something I'm not allowed to do has always made things better for me. I go through a 24 in about a month, in the winter a 24 can last me 3 or 4 months. So I'm not a drinker per say, but I love my ex and my Corona!

For the woman who said she has never heard any good stories from drinking, I'm sorry for your life. Drinking, like eating, can be a good ADDITION to life. As with anything and everything, MODERATION is what is important. I am not judging you, I am just saying how sad it is to have heard all the negative without the positive.

Not me....I hate the taste of beer, even though I will drink it on social occasions. The only time I crave beer is if I am at the beach, but it has to be a Corona with a wedge of lime.....yummy!

I tried it at 7 and at 21 I hated it both times. I think you really have to set your mind toward acquiring a taste for it. YUCK!!
Smirnoff Ice and mixed drinks like Fuzzy Navels are way better. Mudslides, Jack Daniels Down Home Punch, or Amaretto Sours are good too. They all taste sweet and they'll git you drunk!! LOL

My mom tells me that the first time my dad gave me a taste of his beer I smiled and reached for the can. I probably wasn't older than two. She knew that I would be a handfull at that moment.

I did, no doubt!

I was just a kid, learned to drink at home, by responsible parents. I firmly believe that if more people learned how/when/how much to drink at home or other family gatherings, you wouldn't see so much alcohol abuse by young people when they finally get a chance to drink unsupervised.

I love beer, it's my fav alcoholic beverage.
