Do you think you came to this world with no purpose? Just to die and perish forever only?

Animals are not given free will therefore they won't be questioned and they will turn to dust. If you think you will become also dust, then does not that make you no different than animals?

Believers have nothing to loose, if there is no afterlife (which you claim) then nothing will happen. But if there is Hell (and it exists) then all atheists would be the greatest loosers.

It's not as what you all think, just die and don't feel anything. Actually it all starts from the grave! When the people are dead and waiting for the Judgment Day, bad ones will be punished starting from the grave. So don't think you can easily avoid just because you don't believe in afterlife. Your believe does not change the Truth (Haqq).

I believe that as long as I have made a positive contribution to the world, I can die peacefully. I am fortunate to have already accomplished that. That is my immortality.
I would like to accomplish more, but I don't fear death.

Why be afraid of death? It is inevitable and natural. Since I won't exist or have any type of consciousness after I die, why should I worry about it? I can't care if I'm dead. In the meantime, I just want to see how much I can enjoy and accomplish in this life before I go. And once I am gone, the world will continue to spin as it did before me.

You forget, I won't cease to exist, I go on to become part of the world around. Yes I'm afraid of it, everyone is. You'd have to be trained not to be.
If someone was to make an attempt on your life tomorrow you cannot tell me that you would not be afraid.
Do YOU have absolute faith that you're going to a better place? What if you slip up and accidentally end up going to Hell? Are you just going to assume that no matter what as long as you believe in Jesus that you'll get a free ride into Heaven?

Why only humans have life after death? Just cos we are more intelligent?.
When we are dead we won't have to care, cos we won't feel anything, it is like being asleep forever. We can't go on forever, but we leave our legacy's with our children.
You think it's fact, when it's actually only theory. Why will we be punished for not believing?

Do you feel greedy for believing that only humans live after death and not animals etc.I feel that your religion is based on humankind and that we are superior to everything but god. Humans have always considered themselves special before any others. Your question applies to other religions and not just atheists. I dont think believing in nothing(athiestism) makes you religious though.

I'm not afraid. As long as I live life to the fullest, I'll die knowing I lived on this Earth to my best potential. Death is inevitable for everyone.
What if believers died and after death they realized(hypothetically)
that there was nothing beyond death, no heaven, no kingdom, no nothing. Would you be disappointed that you didn't live differently?
Would you somehow feel betrayed? Angry? Swindled?

Yeah, it scares me. Ceasing to exist is some pretty scary stuff when you sit down and contemplate it. The only comfort is knowing that I wont be there to be scared after I'm dead.
Edit: "Your believe does not change the Truth" You're absolutely right. Yours surely doesn't, we know that for certain.

Religiously no, otherwise yes, in a way. Because of the fear of the unknown.
