Family always wins hands down, when push comes to shove they will always be on your side no matter what happens in your life, careers all that shines isn't always golden, time is precious once you have used it all up on a career there's no clawing back time with your family..

Hi me myself would choose family. I know loads of people will disagree as most people may say, a career is an opportunity that could be wonderful and also gets you the money and no matter wat familys will want you to do good for yourself and they will always be there. But on the other hand is your career something you want to do. I dont know which type of family you mean. Do you mean your own little family you live with like your wife and kids or husband and kidds, or do you mean mum and dad and siblings. If its your own little family i would say family first as you want to be there everystep of the way and you may not get the chance to do it again. But i would have a word with family memebers and get it off your chest and talk it through.

Family! A career can be gone in an instant due to downsizing, etc., but a family will always be there for you. It's easier to start a new job than it is to get a new family or find people who will care about you when times get tough.

has to be family whats the point of having a career without someone to share it no point at all is there family help support you in your choice of career any way so really i suppose they go together apart from the fact that you can have either but linked is better specially for me if it wasnt for my loved ones then there would be no point in getting out of bed in the morning

i would choose a career, because then you can financially support your kids. you don`t want too be raising a family in a dead end job just making enough money to make ends meet. i wish i got my career first instead i had two kids first and am struggling now. just started a nail technician course learning from home so i can be with my kids cost me an arm and a leg though literally

I took the decision to stay at home and bring up my children rather than work. Best thing I ever did. If more Mums did it the world would be a more stable and happy place.
