In my opinion, and in the DC Metro Area, they cost taxpayers a lot of money by using government services like public education, medical services and day labor sites. They have made MY taxes go up. It has impacted my life.

I welcome all LEGAL immigrants. I work with people who come from 19 different countries and they enrich my life. But they all managed to get here legally. That is all I ask.

Bad at this time.

There are more illegal immigrants that have come into this country in the past few years than there were legal ones for 400 years. Now that's not counting the legal ones and the ones waiting legally. Immigration, legal, is a 2 way street. Not only do they have to get used to America, but we need time to adjust to them. The illegal Mexicans are volunteering for slave labor, they are legally bringing in cheaper workers with the HB1 visas for higher paying jobs. Our minimum wage can barely cover a date let alone be able to survive on. It's driving down our pay and only the rich business owners are profiting. Cheap labor doesn't pay enough to live in this country. And we can't sustain all these people.

Whatever income and sales taxes they may be paying, they don´t anywhere near add up to how much they´re sucking out of our government services. Paying taxes is no excuse or justification for working illegally in ANY country. Ilegal immigrants are also driving the wages and over all quality of life down, a definite BAD influence.

Illegal immigrants are a bad influence. Even if some of them pay their fair share of taxes, it still doesn't make up for what they cost us and doesn't change the fact that they broke the law.

Public Education and Medical Services, it's the government's job to provide with us(meaning everyone who lives in u.s) public ed and medical services. Did you know government spends on unnecessary activities. illegal immigrants do not cost taxpayers too much money. illegal immigrants also pay tax to live here. Just because they are illegal immigrants doesn't mean they kill American people, they are just people, just like this and look anyone can kill and commit a crime. Don't put it on the illegal immirgants. The governement spends a lot, if it's not on public education and medicial services, it will be on something else and sometimes it doesn't even give us citizens, taxpayers benefit. Not all the activities and things the government do are right and will benefit us. Illegal immigrants come here for what? just to have a better life. For people who doesn't welcome them, do you know how hard and sad their lives are? For the wealthy and spoiled children, you guys won't know, you guys are living in prosperity. FOr those who work hard to get where they are at today will understand and know. I welcome immigrants, whose who are legal and who are illegal, not all immigrants are lucky enough to be a legal immigrant, it takes a lot of work, effort, time and money to become a legal immigrant. My parents were immigrants and I, myself is one too. I am a citizen here and so are my parents, we came here legally. I came here at a very young age and I'm blessed but I also talked to those who just want to come here to make decent money to bring back to their countries to support their families because they are so poor and they just wish to live a decent life not even wealthy just an average life. That's how life is outside of U.S and there are low income ppl living in U.S and life is already hard enough here but life is even harder in other countries. I UNDERSTAND FOR THOSE TO HAVE TO COME HERE ILLEGALLY.

Illegals, in the long run, become productive citizens and pay their fair share of taxes.

They even do this in the short term. I won’t speak for all of them… but a great majority, which I have witnessed.

“Zoe”… just how desperate were you to insult “Lily”….? One of the most common spelling mistakes made is... “alot” vs. “a lot.” You must be a genius.
