My bf and i were involved in a car accident He came to pick me up from school and he was acting funny his eyes were blood shot so i thought he was just a little bit tired. Coming out of the parking lot he saw my ex. bf 's car and his new gf driving it i guess he was trying to teach her how to drive.Anyway he decided to drive right at them to scare her as a joke.Unfortunatley this was a major intersection of of a major route 35 .he skided and he hit them head on the drivers side and my bf's car was hit from behind causing me to go through the windshield because my seat belt was not on i needed 14 stitches and a dislocated shoulder and a cracked rib. I dont remeber what happened really after he hit the other car but two other cars were involved. And the other girl is in critical condition my bf is scared and wants me to lie saying he might go to prison if i dont?is that true?

Do you want to be possibly charged with the crime, too? If you don't, then go tell the police what happened now. If they can prove later that you lied to them in a potential manslaughter/attempted murder case, you can go as a principal to the crime. If not, you might be an accessory after the fact by protecting him.

Bottom line is, your bf decided to do a really stupid thing. Do you want to go to prison for what he decided to do? He made the bed, now he has to "lie" in it. Don't risk your future over his decision.

There seems to be a lot of evidence against him already. The police have figured out what happened. You lie and you will find yourself in custody for obstruction or later perjury. Considering what happened 1. you went through a windshield, 2. a girl is in critical condition because he decided to "play a joke" at a major intersection on a major highway. Your boyfriend may go to jail no matter what you say. You have to decide if you want to get yourself into trouble.

Don't lie. Have a conscience. Do the right thing.

he might be a good person, but you will be an accessory to a crime if you do not tell the truth. don't ruin your life for him. and what does he want you to lie about? the fact that he was high? or something else? regardless, don't lie.

also, this wasn't just a JOKE. this poor girl is in critical condition and you had some pretty serious injuries as well. your boyfriend HURT people. let him take his consequences like a man.

No dont lie, it will only get you in more trouble later. What would you be lying about anyway? Do or did you see him do something like drugs, etc. before the accident? If you didnt, you cant say he was just because his eyes were bloodshot. He may have just been foolin around, and well stuff happens..You should tell them the whole truth about the accident though. Cause its going to get worse later anyway. Insurance, and if she tells, or dies...you never know whats going to happen. So tell the truth, or you will be in trouble too...

Tell the absolute truth about the facts. Do not lie, and don't color your story with impressions and assumptions.

Driving is not a joke, and you don't "scare" people with a car.

Never lie for a man. Ask all the women in prison for lying for their man just how good of an idea that turned out to be.

1. Your bf was an idiot.
2. If the girl dies, he would go to jail.
3. What should you do? This is totally unethical, but no more lives need to be ruined for a stupid idea. You don't really know what happened. And that's that.
4. Your bf should own up.

Yes he can go to jail for vehicular assault that is where he needs to be. If you do not tell the truth and the police find out you could be charged with being an accomplish and you both could go to jail. he is not a good guy he is stupid. Tell the truth don't risk getting in trouble to it is not worth it.

You need to be 100% honest, or you could end up in serious trouble yourself. You HAVE to tell the truth. They will have all the forensic evidence that will prove or disprove what you say, anyway. It might go bad on him, but it will be even worse if you get caught covering up for him. Is he worth going to jail for? He is willing to risk your future, to save his butt or he wouldn't ask you to lie for him. Please do the right thing. From the tone of your question, I think you want to. If you don't, you know you will have to live with that lie the rest of your life.

If he is a good person, he wouldn't ask you to lie for him. Tell the truth or you could potentially be held in comtempt for falsifying information. Do you want to go to jail or get fined along with your boyfriend??? Is a relationship worth being locked up???

he has no clue whether he'll go to jail or not. hes scared and trying to scare you into lying for him. dont risk yourself going to jail. its illegal to lie to the authorities. and the truth will be found out. police are trained to piece these things together. tell the truth and lose the loser boyfriend. hes no good. if he cared about you he would understand that you have no other options.
