Drink a protein shake or a nutrion bar before or after you eat a regular meal. This adds more calories but in a small amount. Try to reduce acitivity level, but still get exercise. Try lifting weights (small ones to begins with) to add muscle, instead of fat.

I played all sports in school - 5 or 6 team sports, as well as lots of stuff like climbing & kayaking etc.
I left school at 19yo - a 6 foot tall guy......120 pounds, 27 inch waist & 32 inch chest. I'd been eating 4,000 calories a day and burning them all.
If you are 84 pounds at 16yo - what's the problem ?
P.S. I am now 44yo, 40 waist & 44 chest - Ieat eat 2,000 calories a day & put on weight - DOH !

It depends on how tall u are??
well u should eat just junk food it and exercise a little just eat more food during the day like snack a lot!

Eat heavy foods and more at meals. Still eat somewhat healthy, but add worse foods to your diet. Also do not be involved in strenuous activities.

girl i don't know what your health conditions and all of that are but i say that you just eat keep eating and eating but exercise not to much though cuz then you might lose the weight that you are tring to gain.

Why do you want to gain weight?
85 lbs sounds so perfect.
Just continue to ear dust particles, and don't worry if people call you "too skinny," they're just jealous because they're fat.

Well, if you are 4'11" 84 is thin but not too thin, but if you are 5'5" or more you could go see your doctor.....he/she could put you on something to help you gain some weight.
